Develop Communication Plan for the artists
- Based on the Tour timeline, consider what artists should be told, when they should be told and how (MailChimp, ‘regular’ emails, website, FaceBook) they should be told
- Draft communications as needed and work with the email admin, Website and Social Media Committees to implement
- Ensure all communications provide ALL necessary details: who, what, when, where, why, how. Don’t presume the reader ‘already knows’.
- Ensure all draft communications are reviewed / edited by at least two people before sending
- Coordinate with Website and Social Media Committees to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
Update (or create) ‘how to’ / handover documentation as needed; note ways to improve the process in the following year and post to DropBox at the end of the year.
