Communications Committee

The Communication Committee manages communications with the Santa Fe Studio Tour artists.

Committee Size

  • 1 Lead plus 2 volunteers

Develop Communication Plan for the artists

  • Based on the Tour timeline, consider what artists should be told, when they should be told and how (MailChimp, ‘regular’ emails, website, FaceBook) they should be told

 Manage Communications

  • Draft communications as needed and work with the email admin, Website and Social Media Committees to implement
  • Ensure all communications provide ALL necessary details: who, what, when, where, why, how.  Don’t presume the reader ‘already knows’.
  • Ensure all draft communications are reviewed / edited by at least two people before sending
  • Coordinate with Website and Social Media Committees to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms

Documentation

Update (or create) ‘how to’ / handover documentation as needed; note ways to improve the process in the following year and post to DropBox at the end of the year.
